A welcoming and cozy space where you can treat yourself and escape into your practice. The instructors are dynamic and can help tailor the classes to all levels of yogi.
Whether you are a seasoned practitioner or looking to get started for the first time, Honey is the place for you!
Its really nice to find a place so welcoming! I’ve tried other yoga studios in the area but I love how personal the experience is at Honey Yoga. Practice is a safe place and keeps me very grounded. I appreciate all the instructors who make the genuine effort to get to know you - it was the reason why I kept coming back and decide to stay. They have created a great community as I enjoy meeting new people and seeing familiar faces every time I go to class. I wish I found this place sooner but I am happy to here with them!
I had never done yoga before going to Honey because I was nervous about being a beginner but Honey made me feel so welcome, comfortable, and powerful. The teachers and the community are so accepting and encouraging. The studio itself is beautiful and cozy. I have been going for a year now and I am so happy I started. I cannot recommend Honey Yoga enough!
I've been shopping around for a local yoga option unsuccessfully, mostly finding environments with a vague sterile disconnect or feeling pushed beyond my abilities. At Honey Yoga, the instructors engage with their students in ways that exude kindness, reassurance, empowerment, and support. They provide instruction that focuses on meeting you where you are, celebrating your own wisdom, dispensing the perfect, descriptive cues, and teaching us tons. One example: after discovering how my mobility issues prevented me from a pose that was far from its intended appearance, I looked to Bridget in panic. She immediately noticed, and called me by name to reassure me the pose was “exactly right.” What kindness and empathy! I always get that post-yoga mental and physical peacefulness that only happens in those special studios...and this is coming from someone who really doesn't love yoga ;-) also—music is top notch. I've learned so much and am so glad I've finally found home.
Been coming to honey yoga for the last month and feel both comfortable and challenged here. All teachers have the best playlists - have you done yoga listening to music? Game changer! They encourage you to tune in and approach your practice respecting your body and your limits. Adjustments are welcome. To invite that sort of body awareness, you don’t practice looking at a mirror. The studio can get pretty crowded, depending on the class but I guarantee you: it’s very diverse, people don’t look the same in age, gender, body shape, ethnicity, flexibility or years of practice. I love that! It normalizes yoga.
